The Man In The Glass

When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day,
Just go to the mirror and look at yourself

I just completed my 2nd day in business and it has been such an amazing experience..Over the past 2 days I have had 3 clients...My first client was a 25 year old girl girl who had tried unsuccessfully for 5 years to lose weight..She is 15 st at present and her ideal weight is 10st....The session went very well....After watching the "truth about Hypnosis" video I talked her through the Secret language of feelings and she was amazed at how acurate I was with regards to distraction and eating....She went into hypnosis very quickly and passed the eye lock and arm catalepsy with ease....I used the "HIgh road to success" script with her and as i brough her 5 years down the Low road she had a brief anxiety attack and asked me to stop...I faded the scene and relaxed her giving her suggestions to control her breathing, then emerged her from hypnosis....AS i chatted with her afterwards she explained that she had a personal issue that she had not discussed with me and this had come up while in hypnosis and she got frightened...I was very straight with her(as taught by Cal) and told her that I could help her but she had to be commited to doing her part and really wanting to change....She explained that she didn't think she was ready to tell anyone about her Issue and was surprised when I thanked her for her time and give me a phone back when she was ready to change....(I had tried the sympathic approach at the start and I knew everyone else she had seen had taken this approach, by her reactions)...I think she may have had some secondary gain being the way she was and wasn't ready to change.

My 2 clients today were perfect and very straight forward.....First I had a 45 year old male in to quit smoking....He had only been smoking for 3 years and never wanted to stop up untill recently, so I decided to put him on a 2 session programme. The direct suggestion session went well and he left very upbeat.....

My last client was another woman for weight loss....Learning from my experience yesterday, after our pre-hypnosis interview I ask her how commited she was on a scale from 1 to 10 to quit smoking..I told her that if she had not decided to QUIT and not just stop then I wasn't going through with the session( i had build up quite a lot or rapport with her and I was very abrupt in a sarcastic manner so she told me this was her day to change)......Again, went through the High road to success for weight loss and the additional script in Cal's script book.....When I emerged her from hypnosis and talked to her afterwards, I had linked so much pain to thoses cigerettes I could actually see the change in her attitude afterwards.... 

I booked her in for second session, monday next.....She is getting married in 12 weeks, so the motivation to lose weight is her number one priority at the minute....

So a good start to the week....I have another 5 clients booked in for the remainder of the week so far so what can I say, a perfect start and i'm enjoying every minute of it.....I'll keep you posted.....

Well folks, i finally did it....My new Hypnotherapy office is ready to open, and with a bang.....I have finally finished all the preparation work and it looks fantastic.....I will be making a short video of it 2morrow that I will post on my blog......I put a few ads in the local papers, which came out at the start of this week  and honestly my phone hasent stopped ringing......

I open for business next Monday and I already have 8 solid clients booked in already.....I'm totally shocked......My first client is a 9 year old boy that has been diagnosed with ADHD....I have a guy coming in for anger management who has came in to see me and paid for 6 sessions up front, a couple of weight loss clients and a lady who has a confidence issue....

A new career and im excited, nervous, but really can't wait to get stuck in.......

I am holding a free talk tomorrow morning(Friday) to the local Professional Boxing Gymnasium, on Hypnosis and The Secret Language of feelings and how this approach can help with confidence and motivation in relation to contact sports.....I know the local trainer and am confident that if I get my foot in the door, he will send and pay for a few of the local fighters to see me, coming up to big fights.....

So at the minute i'm very excited and I will keep you up to speed with my progress
